I used to teach ballet classes for toddler's ages 3-6. The dance school that I was at is a ballet school in Chicago where many African-American's take their children for quality pre-professional training. Well, at the time Barak Obama wasn't much more than a Chicagoan who was active in several community movements. I spoke with him several times about his daughter's progress in my ballet class not knowing that years later he would become a front runner in the presidential race. He also visited my church a few times but I honestly like to brag about teaching his daughters how to plie and point their toes!
