How I met Barrack (by Jacob Lawlor)

I was at one of his rallies in October. The feeling in the air was magical. Everyone there was extremely syched. After calming everyone down, he began to speak. He said "Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Thank you, Dick Durbin. You make us all proud.

On behalf of the great state of Illinois... ... crossroads of a nation, land of Lincoln, let me express my deep gratitude for the privilege of addressing this convention. Tonight is a particular honor for me because, let's face it, my presence on this stage is pretty unlikely.

My father was a foreign student, born and raised in a playground where he spent most of his days. Chillin' out, maxin' out, relaxing all cool. Till some guys who looked like they were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mama got scared and said you're moving to your auntie and your uncle's in Bel Air."

I was awestruck. His words carried so much meaning, and his delivery was perfect. But he was not finished. Oh no, not Barack. He continued "I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said "FRESH" and there were dice in the mirror. If anything this cab was rare, but nah, I thought "Yo holmes to Bel-Air!"... I pulled up to the corner around seven or eight, whistled back to the cabbie "Yo holmes, smell ya later!" Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to settle down in my throne the fresh prince of Bel-Air."

Huge applause. I was speechless.
