Silver Threads keep you connected
To the ones you adore
Silver Threads never let your knees
Hit the floor.
You may lose the love
You may never have had it all
But those silver threads
Will never let you fall.
They flow from the heart
And into the soul
They keep you attached
and help you stay bold.
You can deny the love
Or hold it at bay
But that Silver Thread
Will never let it go away.
You can lose yourself
Your mind may go
But the Silver Thread
Will always hold.
Hold it tight, never let go
Breaking a silver thread means
Losing your soul.
You’ve then lost it all
Never more shall you know
That silver threads
Are actually made of gold.
