The man looked at his wife as he boarded the ski bus. "She's the woman, the driver in my dream." "Are you sure?" his wife asked. "He nodded his head, still wide-eyed. It just happened to be the coldest day of the year and only 2 slopes were open that day. I looked back at them and said, "Well, I've always wanted to be the woman of someone's dream, I just didn't expect him to have a wife", laughingly.
"You don't understand". He stated. "Why did you come here to drive buses? I came here last year in July to do it, but was forced to go home by a dream." He looked at me oddly. We still had a few minutes before I could leave the stop so I told him, what had brought me here, just a little bewildered by these people. "A dream, would you believe, led me to drive motorcoaches. A dream I had over 20 years ago. When I came here in August of last year, I knew that dream was a major factor. The minute I crossed 'that' mountain you see to your right, I knew I had to stay and drive these buses. You see, there was an accident somewhere along the way. I believe in re-incarnation, by the way, and I was on that bus that plunged deep into the waters below that mountain. The driver had a heart attack and none of us could stop the bus or take over, no one knew how. So, with that dream in my head, buried deep I took commercial driving and learned how to drive. I have driven for the last several years, and had the chance to come here, this year. There was never a doubt in my mind as I crossed that mountain, that if something happened again like that, I could help. I hope it never does, but if it does, I'm your girl." He smiled, "yes you are. You see, that's why I left. After we got here, I had a dream that I was driving over that mountain and a blonde driver happened to be going to the next town for her day off. She was on my bus. I had a heart attack and she very quickly took over, and saved us. But, it scared me so much, I gave up the job and we went back home and I went to my doctor. A week later, I was in the hospital having a quadruple bypass. I am fine now, so hopefully it will never happen." As I started my bus, he stopped me. "It's too cold to go skiing. We're just going to cut our vacation short and go on back home. I would bet my bottom dollar now that we met, you will feel the same way shortly and leave here, because this time, this go around, won't happen. We full-filled our mission, I believe in re-incarnation also. I am glad we met. I am also glad that you don't have to cross that mountain today." I sighed and smiled, and his wife asked if she could hug me. I stood up and they both gave me the biggest hug, and we had a group hug also. About then, the radio blarred. "Due to the hazardous driving conditions and sub zero temperatures, all slopes in the surrounding area will be closed today. Drivers, put your vehicles away and enjoy your day off".
This is a true story, and he was right, I no longer felt the need to stay there and drive, but finished out my season and returned the next year, but it was not to be. About 6 weeks into the season I had to leave for personal and family reasons. I tried once again, to return, but it didn't happen then either. It seems that there are guardian angels watching over all of us. A couple of years later, I also had a heart attack. Now, I no longer drive commercially, And all is well that ends well. Missions get accomplished all the time. We may never know what roll we play in these real to life situations, but they do get accomplished.

"JUST AS THE GIFTS HAVE BEEN GIVEN SO SHALL THE BREAD BE GIVEN TOO."
BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE, AND WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP OTHERS, JUST A SMILE COULD MAKE SOMEONE ELSE'S DAY. IT IS NOT HOW OTHERS TREAT YOU THAT COUNT, IT IS HOW YOU TREAT OTHERS.
