A fellow writer on here asked me why my story was listed as non fiction. The fact is that almost all of my stories on here are listed as non fiction. That is because they are about experiences that I have personally had. Children of Fate, even the most boring parts of it is about my life. There really is a person out there that is claiming to be my brother.
The Seven Pennies and the Pennies are special to me story is real. My grandmother is the person behind these stories. The story about Atlanta, and the truck driving is a true story. Without Anger, final straws, these are all personal experiences.
I try very hard to see the light side of everything. I know deep in my heart that there is a Creator, regardless of what one may call him/she/ or even it. Sometimes telling the truth can be very difficult. But to tell a lie, weaving a web of deceit will only cause a person problems in the end. The names have been changed to protect the innocent in some of the stories. Even the Christmas story of the woman living under the bridge is based on an actual person. To say my life has had a snowball effect would be putting it mildly. I am no good at writing fiction, even tho I wish I could say that yes, these are purely stories i 'conjured' up in my vivid imagination. I have learned that one has to look farther than the end of the nose in order to face the world head on. Do I have any idea of what may lay on the other side? Absolutely not. No one really does. Not even the best physic can say they know for a fact what lay on the other side. All anyone can do is wait for that day to come to find out. But I do know this:
ONE SHOULD TAKE EVERYTHING WITH A GRAIN OF SALT SO TO SPEAK. ONE SHOULD NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS, AND JUST SAY TO HECK WITH IT. THEY SHOULD KEEP PUTTING ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER. FOR THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE TODAYS WORLD.
There is so much out there that does not meet the eye. If we take everything at face value then all the things that our forefathers worked for in this world are of no value whatsoever. What if Ben Franklin and Thomas Edison had given up? There would be no eletricity, no light bulbs. This world is not black and white, it a world of many colors, with lots of shades of grey in between. Wether you believe in physic ability or not, it does not mean it doesn't exist. And if your body jerks violently when you lay down or sit down to rest you should not automatically assume that there some kind of 'creature' invading your body. There is every possibility you could have a nerve impengment causing it. Always look for the obvious before assuming something is of a physic or paranormal nature. ORBS can be a speck of dust, or a drop of dew. I can look back over my life and see now reasons why I was where I was at particular times. It was because there was a lesson to be learned, or perhaps someone just needed a smile, or maybe I needed a smile from someone else.
So now the question has been answered. My material comes from experiences. I am not, nor have I ever been to college for writing classes and the only type of fiction I write is Children's books. One of these days they might even get published. I have been offered contracts and one of these days it will happen. All in good time. As for fiction novels, I know I will never be a Grisham, or Koontz or Clark. They are awesome writers. I only write my stories. They may not be political correct, or grammatically correct or the spelling may be off. Writing is my passion. Writing helps me deal with the situations at hand. Writing eases my mind, and puts my troubles in retrospective for me.
A heartfelt thanks to all who stop by and read my post. I know some of them are boring, and some of them, depending on what you believe are probably downright unbelievable. But these are my experiences. Everything from the 15 seconds to the man who wanted to sit in the blue room to the store that I can not walk into with out experiencing anger to the final straws to the desires of finding missing people. So, there ya go Stan. There is my answer. And the answer to the other question is
YES IT IS VERY EASY FOR ME TO BELIEVE IN A HIGHER POWER, I HAVE SEEN TOO MUCH IN MY 50 PLUS YEARS NOT TO BELIEVE IN A HIGHER POWER, A GREAT CREATOR. I BELIEVE IN THE LIGHT. MY PREACHER, SLIM AS WE CALLED HIM, ALSO TOLD ME ONCE WHEN I WAS SO MAD THAT I COULDN'T THINK STRAIGHT AND WAS TRYING TO BLAME THAT HIGHER POWER, THAT THERE HAS NEVER BEEN BORN A CHILD THAT DIDN'T GET MAD AT HIS/HER FATHER/ PARENT, AND IF SATAN AIN'T KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR, THEN YOU HAD BETTER BE WORRIED COZ THAT MEANS HE'S ALREADY GOTCHA. SO WHEN YOU KNOW DEEP IN YOUR HEART THAT SATAN IS KNOCKING, JUST DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR.
