Sorry, but I just have to ask this question: What is wrong with people anymore? Our society is going to hell in a handbasket and nobody cares. People are not nice to one another at all anymore.
I try to be nice to everyone I meet, even if its just a "hi" as you pass someone on the street. Very rarely do I get a response. I just don't get it. Why be so rude for no reason?
Many times I have had people thank me for being nice to them, making their day better, and/or pulling them out of a "funk" they were in. When this happens, I appreciate their appreciation but I always wonder why its necessary to thank someone for being polite and courteous. Shouldn't we all be that way anyway?
Perhaps some of you out there can relate to what I am saying here, perhaps not, but is there someone out there who has any idea why this is happening to us?
